A mini-exhibition of Shieko “Shika” Reto’s drawings/paintings from her travels from Kuala Lumpur to Turku to Helsinki.
18:00 — 21:00 Open mic/stage for any artist or performance-artist.

Shieko Reto is a visual artist and activist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, whose work addresses the concerns of trans- and cross-cultural phenomena. Her work has been part of international exhibitions, including the Singapore Biennial and the Artists at Risk PAVILION at Matadero-Madrid.
Shieko Reto is currently an Artists at Risk (AR) Resident at AR-Safe Haven Helsinki, hosted in cooperation with HIAP — Helsinki International Artist Programme. The AR-Network is curated by Perpetuum Mobilε (PM) and is coordinated by the AR-Secretariat, co-funded by Kone Foundation. This residency is co-funded by the Helsinki City Cultural Office. The event is co-funded by the Finnish Culture Fund Suomen Kulttuurirahasto.
