SUBSTANCE 100 raises the question: “What is the purpose of art in the 21st century?”
Artists at Risk (AR) is a peer-to-peer network-institution, and could not exist without all its multiple and moving parts. Our work is only made possible through an incredible weave of artists, partners, institutions and funders who have supported and contributed to the AR-Network. To keep artists at risk out of harm’s way, collaboration goes over competition, so we can’t but mention a small selection of them here:
