A big welcome to Ali Saad as an Immigré Artists (IA)-Resident at AR-Safe Haven Helsinki!
Saad is an Iraqi musician currently working in Finland as a musician, composer and sound designer. He has worked at the Finnish National Theater, on dance performances and has performed in concerts with many different ensembles.
During his IA-residency, Saad will be composing new material for his upcoming album as well as beginning a new co-operation to develop an interesting theatre concept, delivery theatre. Saad is particularly keen to see how this work can be developed and explored within the context of Finland.
Saad recently released a new video for the song Can this be fate featuring himself and Finnish musician Sanna Salmenkallio. The video was edited during his IA-residency at AR-Safe Haven Helsinki.
