Razan Rahama

Razan Rahama is a Sudanese director and filmmaker.  Her first short film, School’s Road, was shown at several local and international festivals and won a number of awards which inspired her to pursue a career in film.

Her films include Green Voice, which was screened at the opening of Sudan Independent Film Festival 2018; Existence, which won the audience award and best actress award in the Tiharqa International Award for Cinema and Art, and Songs of Far Away Airports.

Razan Rahama is an Artists at Risk (AR) Resident hosted remotely in cooperation with Nośna Foundation at AR-Kraków. The AR-Network is curated by Perpetuum Mobile (PM) and is coordinated by the AR-Secretariat, co-funded by Kone Foundation. This residency is financed by the City of Kraków as part of the AR Covid-19 Emergency Fund.
