Yasmine Akrimi is a researcher focusing on political transitions, social movements and the intersection of gender and race in the Maghreb. She is a PhD candidate in Political Sciences at the University of Ghent in Belgium and a North Africa research analyst at the Brussels International Centre for strategic analysis. She is also a contributor for the Middle East Eye, french edition.
