#RiskandRebellion was dedicated to

  • The 10th anniversary of the Egyptian Revolution;
  • The 20th anniversary of the World Social Forum;
  • The Kick-off of our new EU Project: Artists at Risk (AR) – A European Network of Safe Havens  (AR-ENSH), our new Creative Europe project co-funded by the European Union.

The whole team at Perpetuum Mobile (PM) / Artists at Risk (AR) / Ecologists at Risk (ER) would like to extend its most heartfelt thanks to all who took part! #RiskandRebellion exceeded expectations and feedback from players big and small has been excellent, and from a remarkable range and quality of audiences – from activists to establishment institutions – and includes proposals for future joint projects. Without your amazing artistic interventions, thoughts, and active participation we could never have done this! Despite the original Facebook event going missing in action, we’ve had over 3K views on Facebook and Youtube.

In the coming days and weeks we will be posting short, bite-sized video-segments and photo-documentation from the 5-hour #RiskandRebellion Symposium. We invite you to join our Telegram channnel and the public chat to discuss: https://t.me/ArtistsatRiskDiscussion.
