The “Künstlergut Prösitz”, a former farm of the 19th century with three sides, is carried on as a working place for artists. The association’s aim is the supporting of women artists with infants in their specific artistic work. Prösitz is an idyllic village, about 30 minutes by car from Leipzig, not far from the motorway A14. Since 1995 the association is troubled to fit out a former stable construct into an artists’ house and a place for events. Main emphases of the exhibitions, organized by the artists’ house till now, are sculpture, graphic and schulptor- drawing. Also exhibitions, performances about culture- and arthistory as well as courses about plastical and ceramical design.
