Tampere Artists` Association is a part of the AR-Finland Network. There were two Ukrainian visual artists -22 (2 months/artist) in the AR residency of the Tampere Artists’ Association. In the AR-Suomi network -23-24, the goal is to develop cooperation with the city of Tampere, and to get funding from the city for AR safety residency activities and to develop peer artist activities for the residents.
Tampere Artists’ Association’s main activities are gallery, art loan, workshop and course activities of the Art Centre Mältinranta, the association’s own exhibition activities and the management of the association’s workspace centres and the maintenance of residency activities. The activities also include supporting the work of artists, maintaining contact with other artist organizations and the cultural administration, and promoting interaction between the arts.
