Bakota Hub is part of the AR-UNESCO residency programme in Ukraine.

An artistic residency “Bakota Hub” is based on an empty school near the Dniester river in Bakota near the town of Horaivka in western Ukraine, not too far from the border to Moldova. It is located in the nature reserve “Podilsky Tovtry” (50 km from the nearest bigger city), which is one of the most popular Ukrainian tourist destinations.

The residency area is one of the quietest in Ukraine during the time of war.  There are no air alarms, sirens and hostilities. This region is one of the most popular places in the country and at the same time one of the most silent, which inspires creativity.

Bakota Hub organises artistic events, ecological camps, outdoor events and residences at Bakota Hub.
