Artists at Risk (AR) has safe houses and residencies in Ivory Cost. AR has been organising temporary relocation for at-risk practitioners in west Africa with local organisations and others acting in solidarity with persecuted artists. Abuja (Nigeria), Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and other undisclosed locations serve as AR-Safe Haven Residency sites.
In Abidjan, Ivory Coast, AR worked with a local hosting coordinator and established a studio space and gallery-partnership for an AR-Resident.
