Issa Touma is an award-winning Syrian photographer and cinematographer, known for documenting the resilience, ruins, beauty and strength of Aleppo.
Following his Artists at Risk (AR) Residency, he reopened Le Pont Gallery in Aleppo. He has also organized the Aleppo International Photography Festival for over two decades. Through his work, he tries to connect the international art community with his native country.
