Introducing Tatyana Partina, an artist and writer from Odessa currently in AR-residence in Story Villa Heinävaara. Partina expresses her creativity through watercolours, graphic art, and recently, oil pastels. The challenges of the war in Ukraine have made her artistic practice more crucial and personal than ever.
Partina takes inspiration from her surroundings and nature, sometimes working in en plen-air. During Partina residency at Story Villa Heinävaara, supported by Artists at Risk (AR), Tatyana has found peace and inspiration in Northern Karelia’s beautiful surroundings. This led to the creation of new works, including the « Sirpa’s Garden » series, inspired by her residency and named after the owner of Villa Heinävaara.
Partina’s works will be on display at the idyllic Story Villa Heinävaara this September.
