This Friday 27 September, AR-Resident Maria Martos will perform a dance demo at her residency in Haihara Manor, Tampere. Pirkanmaa Dance Center, in collaboration with Artists at Risk (AR), welcomed Ukrainian dance artist Maria Martos to the Haihara residency this autumn.

Martos’ dance demo explores the themes of home and belonging. Her site-specific approach intertwines the history of Haihara Manor with her own home in Kiev, creating a powerful connection between the safety of home, invasion, loss, and reclamation.

Martos, alongside local dance artists Kornélia Mangi and Tuuti Touhunen, will host a public demo event at the Haihara Manor, sharing excerpts from their creative processes and discussing their current projects.

🗓️ When: Friday, 27 September, 19.00
📍 Where: Haihara Manor (Haiharankatu 30, Tampere)
