We are thrilled to welcome Ukrainian artist Olga Noun to KH Künstler:innenhaus Bremen! Noun’s artistic practice spans painting, textiles, installations, and drawings.
Born in Shpytky, Ukraine, Noun’s artistic journey intertwines themes of family memory, societal roles, and the fleeting value of tradition. Her works often draw inspiration from her grandmother’s stories, exploring the connections between past generations and the present.
On December 12, Noun will be opening her studio at KH Künstler:innenhaus Bremen. As part of her residency, Noun presents Anno Domini, a joint project with fellow Ukrainian artist Nazar Ivanyuk, which examines the interaction between human life, memory, and the outside world. The event will also feature a presentation of the film also titled Anno Domini.
