For over 14 years, Olena has been nurturing young creativity in her art studio in Dnipro, helping them explore their imagination and fall in love with art.

Passionate about painting in all its forms, she creates her own vibrant works – from canvas work to large-scale wall murals. Her projects combine beauty, meaning, and scale to spark connection and dialogue.

A graduate of Kherson State University and Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, Olena now draws inspiration from her new surroundings in Finland. She is currently working on a project that blends her Ukrainian roots with fresh perspectives.

Beyond the studio, she’s a proud wife and mother to Matvii and Tykhon – her biggest source of inspiration and support.

We’re proud to welcome Olena to the AR-Helsinki residency, made possible thanks to the support of The City of Helsinki’s Department for Leisure and Culture and The Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture!

Follow her journey as she brings colour, depth, and meaning to her new projects here in Helsinki.
