Here’s a glimpse of the first day of the Ukraine-Nordic-Baltic Residency Cooperation Network Meeting at the Creative Residency MC6 in the Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine.

The meeting is joined by Artists at Risk (AR)’s co-directors Marita Muukkonen and Ivor Stodolsky, the partners of the project and representatives and managers of the Ukraine internal residency network.

The UNB-Network is a three-year project aimed at strengthening cooperation, exchange, and resilience among residency hosts in Ukraine and the Nordic-Baltic Region. This first workshop takes place until September 24th, and it is a key milestone aiming to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and co-develop strategies to support artists at risk.

Yesterday was a great start to the four-day workshop. We look forward to the coming days of creating meaningful dialogue and inspiring new approaches within the community!

We are grateful to our partners for making this happen! Creative Residency MC6, Nida Art Colony, Nordic House Iceland, Retreat Art House, NKDale, Detali, and MASSIA.

Thank you to our funders Nordic Culture Point, the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture and the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
