Osama Khalid Hamid Yousif is a Sudanese visual artist specializing in painting and fine arts.

Osama holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Applied Arts and was actively exhibiting and producing work in Sudan before the outbreak of war in April 2023. His practice explores themes of identity, loss, and survival, reflecting both personal and collective experience. Following the escalation of conflict, he was forced to flee, leaving behind his home, studio, and materials.

Displaced to Egypt, he has continued his artistic work despite precarious living conditions and legal insecurity. In 2025, he was hosted as an AR-Resident at No Callarem – Artistes en Risc in Barcelona, where he was able to rebuild and further develop his practice in a safe and supportive environment.
