Yan Ivich and Sandor Ivich are transgender authors and multidisciplinary creators. Their creative partnership began in their countries of origin, where they managed a large-scale, text-based online literary role-playing game. Within this project, utilizing a dedicated digital platform, the authors developed intricate narratives that featured prominent LGBTQ+ themes. Following the enforcement of repressive state laws in their home countries, the platform was officially blocked by government authorities, and they were forced to flee in critical and precarious conditions. They remain in extremely challenging medical and legal circumstances, yet continue their artistic work with consistent resilience and dedication.
Chronicles of the Celestial World
Their ongoing project, Chronicles of the Celestial World, is a meticulously constructed epic dark fantasy saga defined by mathematical rigor, planetary scale storytelling and an uncompromising sense of realism. The universe operates under strict laws of physics, conservation of energy and cause-and-effect relationships, with magic integrated into the world’s physical laws as a fundamental force rather than an arbitrary device. The narrative completely lacks plot holes or convenient resolutions, grounding every event in coherent internal logic.
The world of Chrcelwor is realistic and unyielding, where no character possesses plot armor; everyone remains vulnerable to political intrigue, betrayal and lethal combat, and anyone can fall at any moment. Told through multiple shifting perspectives, the story reveals the world through the distinct eyes of its inhabitants, creating a vast interconnected tapestry of lives and destinies. By the conclusion of the third volume, the narrative features 127 main characters, each with a fully developed psychological profile and interconnected destiny, while every subsequent volume introduces an additional 30 to 50 equally detailed characters. Romantic arcs, both same-sex and opposite-sex, are woven organically into the fabric of society, and the authors maintain a strictly neutral stance throughout, offering no moral commentary on the actions of their characters.
The project is further supported by original cinematic OST character themes, as well as independently produced visual materials depicting the universe’s locations, characters, traditional hanfu attire and combat systems.
