Based between the DRC and Rwanda, Yves Zagabe is a contemporary dancer and performer.
His artistic work explores the deep connections between intimate memory, identity, and the realities of conflict.
Since starting his journey in 2010, his career has been enriched by key experiences, including Studios Kabako and specialized training in digital art and art therapy. Recently, he received a prestigious grant from the ” Appui aux Opérateurs Culturels en Afrique (AOCA 2023, Institut Français de Paris) ” a major support for the creation of his very first solo: Mon Fardeau.
