Mahsa Mohebali, one of the most important and critical literary voices in contemporary Iranian literature, and journalist and creative artist Hossein Zoghi, also of Iranian origin, are two of the artists participating in the Artistes en Risc project, an initiative sponsored in Catalonia by the collective No Callarem, which aims to provide protection in situations of vulnerability while defending freedom of expression and cultural rights.

No Callarem and Artistes en Risc are part of the program of a new edition of “Cinestèsies, cinema i pensament”, which will be held starting March 4 at the Centre Cívic Ateneu Fort Pienc in Barcelona. They will also be among the voices that can be heard at events organized by Iridia: Associació per la defensa dels drets humans, an association working to promote and defend human rights, which will celebrate its annual festival on the 14th at Sala Paral·lel.

We speak with Fernando Paniagua from No Callarem and Borja Lozano from Iridia, as well as with Mahsa Mohebali and Hossein Zoghi.
