Olena Naumenko is a Ukrainian contemporary artist and a graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in the city of Kyiv. Her practice combines traditions of classical painting with contemporary approaches and mixed media.
Olena Naumenko’s work explores themes of identity, motherhood, memory, displacement, and the fragility of belonging. Since russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, her art has increasingly focused on the search for meaning in life during wartime.
