Katiko Purtseladze

Katiko Purtseladze wrote the following about the residency: 

“Do you know the fairytale about Karlson, who lived on the roof? So, that’s who we are! But can you imagine not simply the roof, but the roof of a theatre in the center of Zurich in Switzerland? So, that’s where we are!

We are a music duo from Kyiv, Ukraine. And in this painful and difficult time, thanks to Artists at Risk, we have the opportunity to feel safe and creative! And that’s what happiness means for us – to make music, to perform on stage, to support our country by telling our story to audiences, to be connected with other people of art, to collaborate with them and to feel life as a miracle!”

Kateryna Purtseladze is an ARTISTS at RISK (AR)-UNESCO Resident at Schauspielhaus, Zurich, Switzerland, with the support of the UNESCO Heritage Emergency Fund and the UNESCO-Aschberg Programme for Artists and Cultural Professionals.
