Mariia Potapenko is an actor, performer, dancer and mime from Ukraine.

Potapenko graduated with a Master’s degree from the Kyiv Academy of Circus and Variety Arts, specialising in pantomime. She took part in Franco Dragone’s show at The Land of Legends in Turkey. She has also participated in the modern Ukrainian operas «Chornobyldorf», «Lingua» and «Genesis» by Opera Aperta laboratory in Kyiv, Ukraine, and in a German-Ukrainian project by the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch in Germany.

Mariia Potapenko is an ARTISTS at RISK (AR)-UNESCO Resident at Galleria Continua Les in Moulins, France, with the support of the UNESCO Heritage Emergency Fund and the UNESCO-Aschberg Programme for Artists and Cultural Professionals.
