Huge congratulations to Grammo Suspect on the release of Embrace Diversity, her album campaigning for justice for LGBTQI people around the world!

As a lyrical activist, Grammo Suspect is dedicated to fighting for equality through her music. After coming out in 2012 she began writing and releasing songs focused on issues affecting the LGBTQI community. The resulting album, Embrace Diversity,  includes eight singles, Our Love is Valid, Injustice, Kuchu Party, My Identity, Hypocrisy, The Journey, Out of the Closet and My Dress My Choice.

Grammo Suspect is one of the first artists to receive an emergency grant from the Artists at Risk (AR) Covid-19 Emergency Fund, created to support artists at risk who face threats to their freedom or safety and are unable to reach a place of refuge during the coronavirus pandemic.

Grammo Suspect – Rainbow Ambassador Kenya is an Artists-at-Risk (AR) Resident at an undisclosed location, coordination by the AR Secretariat is funded by the Kone Foundation. Her  AR-Residency is funded by the AR Covid-19 Emergency Fund and the City of Helsinki.
