Artists at Risk (AR) is delighted to welcome Sudanese filmmaker Razan Rahama as the first AR-Resident at AR-Kraków. The residency, which will take place remotely, is hosted in cooperation with Nośna Foundation, a non-profit art gallery and independent art space in Kraków, Poland.

Razan’s first short film, School’s Road, was shown at several local and international festivals and won a number of awards which inspired her to pursue a career in film.

Her other films include Green Voice, which was screened at the opening of Sudan Independent Film Festival 2018; Existence, which won the audience award and best actress award in the Tiharqa International Award for Cinema and Art, and Songs of Far Away Airports.
