Goethe-Institut koordiniert Hilfe für Kultur aus der Ukraine

A new platform aims to make it easier to offer help for cultural workers from Ukraine. To this end, the Goethe-Institut, together with the organization Artists at Risk, has set up a coordination and placement office. According to a statement by the institute, the German cultural scene responded to the war in Ukraine with numerous offers of help. The offers should now be recorded centrally, bundled and communicated in a targeted manner to cultural workers from Ukraine. According to the information, cultural workers who have fled Ukraine can also register on the corresponding website. Mit einer neuen Plattform sollen Hilfsangebote für Kulturschaffende aus der Ukraine einfacher werden. Dafür hat das Goethe-Institut zusammen mit der Organisation Artists at Risk eine Koordinations- und Vermittlungsstelle eingerichtet. Die deutsche Kulturszene habe mit zahlreichen Hilfsangeboten auf den Krieg in der Ukraine reagiert, hieß es in einer Mitteilung des Instituts. Die Angebote sollten nun zentral erfasst, gebündelt und zielgerichtet an Kulturschaffende aus der Ukraine vermittelt werden. Auf der entsprechenden Internetseite können sich den Angaben zufolge auch geflüchtete Kulturschaffende aus der Ukraine registrieren. Das Goethe-Institut mit 158 Einrichtungen in 98 Ländern ist das weltweit tätige Kulturinstitut der Bundesrepublik.
