In the context of “The Right to Truth: Conversations on Art and Feminism and Every Person is an Artist” which is taking place at Oodi Library in Helsinki, Finland today, Artists at Risk (AR) is delighted to announce the first residency funded by The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture! The resident is Lesia Kulchynska, a Kyiv-based curator and visual studies researcher.

“The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture strengthens artistic and cultural cooperation in the Nordic region and Baltic states. The programme focuses on increasing the exchange of knowledge, contacts, presence and interest in Nordic and Baltic art and culture. “

Over the coming year, AR will utilise The Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture funding to offer residencies to high-risk artists and cultural workers at AR-Safe Haven Helsinki.
