Documentation of the Artists at Risk (AR) - Ukraine-Internal Residency Network Gathering in Lviv

On 16 and 17 December 2023 at Jam Factory Art Center in Lviv, Artists at Risk (AR) brought together the 13 institutional members of the “Artists at Risk (AR) – Ukraine-Internal Residency Network”, a further 30 local organizations, and more than a dozen national and international funders and representatives in a cooperative effort to build the first-ever network of artists-in-residence organizations in Ukraine. The meeting was the culminating event of our two-year partnership for Ukraine with UNESCO.

The AR-Ukraine-Internal Residency Network was initiated by Artists at Risk (AR) in June 2022, and has since been co-funded by donors including UNESCO (Heritage Emergency Fund and Aschberg Programme for Artists and Cultural Professionals), The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts and Teiger Foundation.
