OPEN CALL for Ukrainian art residency representatives, coordinators and cultural workers to join the Artists at Risk (AR) UNB-Network online workshop

We are delighted to extend an invitation to our online workshop at our first UNB-Network meeting on Monday 22 September at 14:30–18:00 CET.

 

 

The workshop will see presentations by AR host partners, institutions and funders in Ukraine, the Nordic and Baltic regions, and wider European network. AR representatives will join speakers from organisations with real, hands-on experience in supporting residencies, artist safety and cultural cooperation:

Senior Advisor, Nordic Culture Point – strengthening cultural collaboration across the Nordic-Baltic region

◆ Lucie Schneider, Associate Project Officer, UNESCO-Aschberg – defending artistic freedom & supporting cultural professionals globally

 Yohann Floch, Director of Operations, On the move network – advancing artist mobility & safe cross-border exchange

◆ Fernando Paniagua, AR-Barcelona / No Callarem – providing safe spaces & solidarity for artists at risk

The UNB-Network is a three-year project aimed at strengthening cooperation, exchange, and resilience among residency hosts in Ukraine and the Nordic-Baltic Region. This first workshop takes place on 21–24 September at @residence_mc6 in the Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine, and is is a key milestone that aims to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and co-develop strategies to support artists at risk.
