BIO
Born in 1999 in Chernihiv Oblast, Kyiv Oblast, creates in Kyiv. He studies emotions, events and phenomena of his environment. The artist’s works are a reflection of the inner world, a response to the exterior. Bohdan pays attention to the “end-to-end concept”, considering events as stages where each “piece of the puzzle” is important. His stories are built on deep understanding and insights.
Story of experience of risk, relocation and/or exile
The explosions that periodically occur in Kyiv have caused me constant background anxiety that prevents me from working, as I cannot concentrate on work, which has caused a decrease in productivity and, as a result, a difficult financial situation.
Projects created during the residency period
“Your emotions and feelings for other people are like touching the ground through a plastic bag. No one will ever understand until they experience it themselves. But it will be another plastic bag with another land.” My thoughts about the war, its perception by different people through the lens of my own experience.
