Magdalena Landry (Poland) is the Director of the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, in Venice, Italy. She has over 30 years of professional experience in UNESCO and since December 2018, she has held the position of Chief of the Executive Office of the Priority Africa and External Relations Sector (PAX), together with the functions of Head of the Bureau for Field Coordination and Support within the same PAX Sector.

Landry has a Master of Science in Organisational and Business Psychology from the University of Liverpool (UK), as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Administration from the American University of Paris (France).
