BIO

Born in 1993, lived in the forest until the age of 6, hence her great love for nature and all living things. She worked with different directions of design and illustrations in different fields until she developed her own style. Zerno’s style is about the combination of nature and people in it, understanding that man is only a part of nature and at the same time humanity and nature are one whole, in which there should be mutual respect and understanding of each other’s needs. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I was under stress like all the residents of the country.

Projects created during the residency period

  1. This is a project about the diversity and richness of our culture. Collages from photographs from the beginning of the 20th century combined with a postmodern look at the graphics of the letters of the Ukrainian alphabet. A metamodern tendency to search for a foundation, a root, but with further transformation, experiments, and the search for something new.
  2. Master class on analog collage for 15 adults and children. It was an event where the participants listened to an introductory lecture on analog collage and created their unique works from clippings from old books and magazines with the addition of dried leaves.

Residency: Creative Residence MC6

Interesting experience living in the mountains for so long. It was busy, as different groups of people from different fields of activity often came to the residence. It was possible to communicate a lot, exchange experience.
