Artists at Risk (AR) is delighted to hear that Mustafa Gamal is to be released from pre-trial detention. Following a concerted campaign for his release, led by AR and partners, the Public Prosecution Office announced at the beginning of June that he would be released. The case is still under investigation and the charges against Mustafa Gamal have not been dropped. Artists at Risk (AR) continue to call for all charges against Mustafa Gamal to be dropped and for the release of Galal El-Behairy from prison.
